Alternative Metals

There are a few different types of alternative metals used for wedding bands such as titanium, tungsten carbide, cobalt, and ceramic wedding rings. These metals are not precious. Titanium

TITANIUM, Named for the Titans, sons of the Greek gods, Titanium, when pure, is a lustrous, grayish white metal. It has a low density, good strength, is easily fabricated, and has excellent corrosion resistance. It is mainly used in jewelry as an accent metal in Men's jewelry. Cobalt

COBALT, is an alternative metal, white color, harder than platinum, and similar to platinum appearance. Cobalt is not a precious metal. It is more scratch resistant than titanium and other precious metals. It can be sized slightly without cutting into the ring. The weights of cobalt rings are very similar to the weight of gold rings. My name is Lee Casey I am Cynthias husband to be. I am actually was the one who ordered the ring. The process was extreme quick and easy. I have to say I had my reservations about ordering a wedding band online considering how special the ring is and everyone wants it to be perfect. No one wants a unpleasant surprises especially on their wedding band. After ordering my ring I discovered I made a mistake on the inscription and the next morning I call WeddingBands.com and spoke to a pleasant young man who immediately helped me correct my mistake.
